DG4 recently produced an electronic flipbook for a 230-page document comprised of product literature and construction trade information. Due to its immense content, the original manual in its binder form, was expensive to print and difficult to modify.
A big challenge in converting such a large document into a flipbook was to ensure speed and reliability for the worldwide users of the manual. This was achieved by using the Zmags digital publishing web application. With 34,000 servers in over 70 countries, Zmags delivers interactive content via the Akamai network, the worlds largest distribution network ensuring quick download times and high performance from anywhere in the world.
Aside from its speed and reliability, the flipbook is searchable for key words, printable by the user, easily updatable and features detailed tracking statistics and analytics.
