Ted has been in the graphic design and print production business for over 20 years. Seventeen of those years have been at DG4, where Ted is the link between clients, the creative team and outside collaborators and suppliers. He follows all projects and production steps very closely. Since then, he has worked extensively with animators and programmers and successfully cultivated a brilliant career as a freelance art director, industrial designer, illustrator, photographer, writer and graphic designer. Johns incredible versatility has made him one of the most sought-after artists, by broadcasters and directors alike, when it comes to designing and generating TV and film animation and special effects.
Every morning, Cathy welcomes us with her radiant smile and contagious good mood. She knows how to iron out problems, defuse potential conflicts and generally grease the wheels. Before joining DG4 in 2005, Patrick worked for eight years for BBDO Montréal as senior copywriter for accounts such as Alcan, Bombardier, CGI, Laurentian Bank, Labatt Breweries, Milk (Québec milk producers federation) and Provigo. Patrick has also acquired unique experience in corporate printed products (annual reports, brochures, folders, etc.). He has developed an array of successful pitches and won a number of awards in advertising (London Film Festival, Publicité Club de Montréal) and design (Arc Awards, Grafika Competition).
Patrick received the Jacques Bouchard Award from the Office québécois de la langue française (OQLF) for the years best advertising text, print category.
Charles is a marketing expert with over 15 years of experience. His company provides research, strategy and planning consultancy services to Canadian and international clients. He is really in his element when it comes to marketing audits, branding strategies, consumer surveys (analyses and interviews) and market identification. Paul is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland who has lived in Canada since 1976. He worked for Campeau Corporation in Ottawa and York Hannover in Montreal before becoming Manager of Financial Planning for Alcan Aluminium Limited, and then Vice President of Finance of Domfoam. He has taught Advanced Accounting in the CA Program at McGill University in Montreal for over a decade. In 1992, he founded Eircan with Karen Peters, CA. He got along so well with the people in the office upstairs – DG4 – that he decided to become our partner and manager. Quite frankly, Pauls decision couldnt have been better for DG4. He has channeled our drive and creativity to build a firm of professionals devoted to their clients growth.
Karen is a member of the Order of Chartered Accountants of Quebec. She has worked for an international accounting firm that has grown to include Ernst and Young. She has also worked as a senior accountant with Domfoam International. In 1992, she joined Paul Dunne as a partner at Eircan. In addition to the accounting and consulting services offered by Eircan, Karen provides a range of tax and certification services as a public accountant. If Karen hadnt become an accountant, she would have made an excellent director of strategic planning at a major company. In fact, DG4 takes full advantage of her talent as a manager, organizer and communicator.
David has built a solid reputation as one of Canadas leading branding experts and is frequently asked to share his expertise on radio and television, particularly on the CBC. David has extensive experience as a senior marketing and advertising executive on both sides of the Atlantic. He managed the H.J. Heinz and General Foods accounts for Young and Rubicam in London. In Toronto, he was Marketing Manager with Thomas J. Lipton and later with Lever Bros. Ltd. David has a PhD in Marketing from the University of Toronto and is an award-winning Marketing professor at the Joseph L. Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto.
