The mission of the Department of Justice and Correctional Services of the Cree Nation Government is to implement its own justice system while respecting the Canadian justice system. It has at heart the development of services, programs and processes that respect the ideals, values and ways of doing things of the Cree Nation.
Our mandate is to create communications tools that highlight the ancestral traditions and symbols of the Cree Nation, in a modern design that reflects the current challenges of the community of Eeyou Istchee.
